Privacy policy
1. General provisions of the privacy policy
This privacy policy describes the personal data collected or processed when you interact with EDSTON mobile application (hereinafter - the Mobile App) by the company BON DIGITAL PTE. LTD. (hereinafter - the Operator). It also explains how your personal data is used, shared, and protected, what choices you have relating to your personal data, and how you can contact us.

The use of the Mobile App means the unconditional consent of the User with this Policy and the conditions for processing information received from the User's device specified therein. In case of disagreement with the Policy, the User must refrain from using the Mobile App.

1.1. The Operator puts its most important purpose and conditions of its activities the rights and freedoms of men and citizens in the processing of their personal data, including the protection of the rights to privacy, personal and family privacy.

1.2. The Operator does not verify the accuracy of the personal data provided by the Users and their legal capacity.

1.3. The Operator assumes that the information provided by the User is reliable and keeps this information up to date.

1.4. The Operator does not control and is not responsible for the information and actions of third parties to which the User can click on the links available in the Mobile App. Please note that in this case, other personal data may be collected or requested from the User by third parties, as well as other actions may be performed.

1.5. By installing the Mobile App, the User agrees to the Operator to collect, process, record, organize, store, modify, depersonalize, delete, change, use the User's personal data in order to provide services under agreements concluded between the User and the Operator.

1.6. This Operator's privacy policy regarding the personal data processing (hereinafter - the Policy) applies to all information that the Operator can receive about persons using the EDSTON mobile app.
2. Terms and definitions
2.1. Automated personal data processing - personal data processing using computer engineering tools;

2.2. Personal data blocking – temporary termination of the personal data processing (unless the processing is necessary to clarify personal data);

2.3. Mobile application, Mobile App - mobile electronic devices software, the current version of which is posted by the copyright holder on the AppStore and Google Play Internet services available in the public information and telecommunication network "Internet" at the network addresses: itunes.apple.com and play.google.com, respectively. The exclusive right to the Mobile App belongs to the Operator by virtue of the fact of creation. Mobile App system requirements for installing: iOS 10 and above, Android 5 and above;

2.4. Personal data information system - a system of personal data contained in databases and information technology and technical means ensuring personal data processing;

2.5. Personal data anonymization — actions as a result of which it is impossible without additional information to determine belonging of personal data to a specific user or another subject of personal data;

2.6. Personal data processing - any action (operation) or a set of actions (operations) committed with personal data with or without the use of automation tools, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (update, change), extraction, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), depersonalization, blocking, deletion, destruction of personal data;

2.7. Operator – a state body, municipal body, legal or natural person, independently or jointly with other persons organizing and/or carrying out processing personal data, as well as determining the purposes of processing personal data, the composition of personal data to be processed, actions (operations) performed with personal data;

2.8. Personal data - any information relating directly or indirectly to a specific or the designated Mobile App User;

2.9. Mobile App User – any visitor and/or user of Mobile App;

2.10. Personal data providing - actions aimed at the disclosure of personal data to a certain person or a certain circle of persons;

2.11. Personal data dissemination - any actions aimed at the disclosure of personal data to an indefinite number of persons (transfer of personal data) or at getting acquainted with personal data of an unlimited number of persons, including the disclosure of personal data in the media and/or in information and telecommunication networks, or the provision of access to personal data in any other way;

2.12. Cross-border transfer of personal data - transfer of personal data to the territory of a foreign state to a foreign government authority, a foreign physical or to a foreign legal entity;

2.13. Personal data destruction - any action that results in permanent personal data destruction with the inability to its further restoration in the personal data information system and/or that results in the destruction of the personal data material storage media.
3. Personal data of the User that the Operator can process.
3.1. The Operator may ask the User for certain personal data to provide with the products or services the User requests. Personal data includes:

  • surname, name, patronymic;
  • email address;
  • phone numbers;
  • year, month, date, and place of birth;
  • personal details including gender, country, and purchase history;
  • login and account information, including screen name, password, and unique User ID;
  • images, photos, and videos;
  • personal preferences including your course list as well as marketing preferences.
3.2. The Operator collects additional personal data from the User to enable particular features within the Mobile App. For instance, the Operator requests access to the User's phone's contacts to allow him/her to interact with the friends or to the User's social network credentials to post content from the Mobile App to a social network. This personal data includes:

  • Photos, audio, and contacts information;
  • (GPS) location data; or
  • social network information, including credentials and any information from the User's public posts about the Operator or the User's communications with the Operator.

3.3. Also the Mobile app collects and processes anonymized data about visitors (including cookies) using Internet statistics services (Apps Flyers and others).

3.4. The Operator reserves the right to automatically determine the User's IP address, the date and time of the User's request, the type of the User's device, the unique device identifier (UDID), information related to the Internet service provider or mobile phone provider, headers of link sources.

3.5. When using the push notifications function in the Mobile App, the Operator can use personal data or non-personal data (such as device identifier) to send push notifications to the User's device.

3.6. The above personal data hereinafter referred to in the Policy are united by the general concept of Personal data.
4. Kids
We comply with local laws and do not allow children to register on our Mobile App when they are under the legal age limit of the country in which they reside.
5. Purposes of personal data processing
5.1. The purpose of the User's personal data processing is to inform the User by sending emails and/or push notifications; providing the User with access to services, information, and/or materials contained in the Mobile App.

5.2. The Operator also has the right to send the User notifications about new products and services, special offers, and various events. The user can always refuse to receive informational messages by sending an email to the Operator at hello@edston.com marked "Refusal of notifications about new products and services and special offers."

5.3. Anonymized data of Users collected using Internet statistics services are used to collect information about the actions of Users in the Mobile App, improve the quality of the Mobile App and its content.
6. Legal basis for the processing of personal data
6.1. The Operator processes the User's personal data only if they are filled in and/or sent by the User independently through special forms located in the AppStore and Google Play Internet services, available in the public information and telecommunication network "Internet" at network addresses: itunes.apple.com and play.google.com respectively. By filling out the appropriate forms and/or sending his personal data to the Operator, the User agrees with this Policy.

6.2. The Operator processes anonymized data about the User if it is allowed in the settings of the User's Mobile App.
7. The procedure for collecting, storing, transferring, and other types of processing of personal data
The security of personal data processed by the Operator is ensured through the implementation of legal, organizational, and technical measures necessary to fully comply with the requirements of the current legislation in the field of personal data protection.

7.1. The Operator ensures the safety of personal data and takes all possible measures to exclude access to the personal data of unauthorized persons.

7.2. The User's personal data will never, under any circumstances, be transferred to third parties, except in cases related to the implementation of the current legislation.

7.3. In the event of inaccuracies in personal data, the User can update them independently by sending a notification to the Operator to Operator's e-mail address hello@edston.com marked "Updating personal data".

7.4. The period for processing personal data is unlimited. The User can at any time revoke his consent to the processing of personal data by sending a notification to the Operator to the Operator's email address: hello@edston.com, with the note "Revocation of consent to the personal data processing".
8. Cross-border transfer of personal data
8.1. Before starting the cross-border transfer of personal data, the Operator must make sure that the foreign state, to whose territory it is supposed to transfer personal data, provides reliable protection of the rights of subjects of personal data.

8.2. Cross-border transfer of personal data on the territory of foreign states that do not meet the above requirements can be carried out only if the subject of personal data has consented in writing to the cross-border transfer of his personal data and/or the execution of an agreement to which the subject of personal data is a party.
9. Final Provisions
9.1. The User can get any clarification on issues of interest regarding his personal data processing by contacting the Operator via email: hello@edston.com.

9.2. This document will reflect any changes in the personal data processing Policy by the Operator. The Policy is valid indefinitely until it is replaced by a new version.

9.3. The current version of the Policy is freely available at AppStore and Google Play Internet services located in the public information and telecommunication network "Internet" at the network addresses: itunes.apple.com and play.google.com, respectively.
